Authorities in New Jersey said Tuesday that they have charged 13 individuals in connection with an illegal online gambling operation. The defendants are all said to be associated with the Genovese organized crime family.
U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman said that those charged include one alleged member of the Genovese organized crime family and 12 members and associates of its Lascala Crew.
