New Jersey will have to take its long-running fight to legalise sports betting to the US Supreme Court after the 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals denied a request Friday for a rehearing.
The Appeals Court denied a request for rehearing by Governor Chris Christie, leaders of the state legislature and the owners of Monmouth Park racetrack.
Not one of the ten judges to consider the request voted in favour of the measure.
