Football world governing body FIFA has extended sanctions imposed on two UK players by the Football Federation of Australia (FFA) after the pair were convicted of match-fixing last year.
The players, Reiss Michael Noel and Joe Nigel Wooley, were hit with an initial ban on September 23rd last year after Victoria Police launched a criminal investigation into the pair. This was extended into a worldwide ban on October 30th by FIFA, in accordance with article 78 [...]
