US casino operator MGM Resorts International has been unanimously approved to resume operations in New Jersey by the state’s Casino Control Commission, after spending the past four years inactive in the state.
The approval, by a margin of three votes in favour to none against, allows MGM to resume as a 50 per cent owner of the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in partnership with Boyd Gaming Corporation.
