Caesars Interactive Entertainment has been fined $10,000 by New Jersey’s Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) for emailing promotional material to self-excluded players.
New Jersey’s self-exclusion list enables players to ban themselves from online and land-based gambling activities in the state, and prohibits operators from marketing to them.
The Division filed the complaint in early October, seeking sanctions against Caesars Interactive Entertainment New Jersey for breaching self-exclusion regulations by emailing online gaming promotions to gamblers on the list. [...]
