Gaming solutions provider EveryMatrix is set to expand its presence in the regulated Belgian gaming market after receiving a licence from the Belgian Gaming Commission (BGC).

The supplier has been awarded a Class E Software Provider Licence, allowing it to provide operators with online casino and sportsbook solutions in the country.

EveryMatrix notes that Belgium has traditionally limited the number of gaming licences it distributes and maintains strict controls on its gambling industry, with iGaming operators required to partner with a land-based casino to launch their products.

The Class E certification is the second licence secured by EveryMatrix this month, after it became one of the first software providers to be licensed by the Republic of Ireland’s gaming regulator, the Irish Revenue Commissioners.

It also holds licences in three other territories; the UK, Malta and Curaçao, allowing clients to operate in more than 30 different countries. This regulatory footprint will be further expanded, with company currently looking to secure betting and casino licences for the Danish market.

“We are excited to have secured the software provider licence in Belgium,” EveryMatrix chief executive Ebbe Groes commented. “It is our constant endeavor to assist operators in accessing new jurisdictions and increase their market share. In this context, this licence represents an important addition to our growing portfolio.”
