Legislation introduced by Vermont Senator Kevin Mullin to legalise and regulate daily fantasy sports (DFS) in his state will now head to the House of Representatives for approval after it was passed in the Senate following its third reading.
Mullin’s S.223, introduced in January, was passed with 19 Senators voting in favour and six against, having required at least 13 yes votes to pass its third reading.
