Dutch gaming regulator Kansspelautoriteit (KSA) has reminded operators that gambling advertising remains illegal in the country, after discovering that some operators are preparing promotional activity ahead of a number of high-profile sporting events this summer.
The regulator said it is aware that some iGaming operators are preparing promotional campaigns around this summer's UEFA Euro 2016 tournament, the Tour de France and the Rio de Janeiro Olympics, warning that they will face prosecution if they breach the advertising ban.
