NSW police launch task force to investigate NRL match-fixing

Authorities in the Australian state of New South Wales (NSW) have launched an investigation into allegations of match-fixing in the National Rugby League (NRL), the top league of professional rugby league clubs in Australasia.

A special task force, Nuralda, has been set up by detectives from the State Crime Command’s Organised Crime Squad to investigate the claims and determine if any criminal offences have been committed.
