London-listed betting and gaming operator Paddy Power Betfair has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the governing body of Spain's top-tier football league, the Liga de Fútbol Profesional (LPF).
The new MoU replaces the agreement signed by Betfair and La Liga in 2014, and establishes a framework for cooperation and communication between the operator and the LFP. It aims to protect the integrity of Spanish football against potential corruption and match-fixing.
