The remissions process for players to reclaim funds seized by the US Department of Justice (DoJ) when it shut down sites hosted on the Cereus Poker Network has begun - almost six years to the day since the money was originally confiscated.

Players that held balances on the network's three sites - AbsolutePoker.com, UltimateBet.com and UB.com - can now file claims for compensation according to the District Court of the Southern District of New York.
