WestLotto and mybet end long-running dispute with €11.8m settlement

German state lottery Westdeutsche Lotterie (WestLotto) has agreed an €11.8m out-of-court settlement with mybet Holdings to end a decade-long legal case.

The settlement will be paid during the second quarter of this year, with mybet agreeing to withdraw the company's original complaint.

The case dates back to 2005 when WestLotto illegally blocked mybet’s lottery brokerage division FLUXX, since renamed SWS Service, from selling lottery tickets via self-service retail terminals.
