Online gaming operator GoWild is preparing to launch in the United Kingdom after receiving licence approval from the UK Gambling Commission.

The company said that the licence approval is an “exceptionally welcome achievement” that marks another step in its strategy to expand into regulated iGaming markets.

“With a strong focus on expanding in regulated markets, licensing by the UK Gambling Commission is welcome news to GoWild,” chief executive Itai Zak commented.

“The UK is one of the biggest, oldest, and most respected gaming communities in the world, and operating there will allow us to increase our exposure, reach new audiences, and improve the local gaming experience.”

GoWild currently operates under a Malta licence, offering players a range of online casino games from the likes of NetEnt, Evolution, Quickfire and Play’n GO via its proprietary GoWild HERO gaming system.
