French iGaming regulator ARJEL has awarded a licence to gaming software and platform provider BetConstruct.

The award of a Remote Gaming Licence for BetConstruct's sportsbook solution allows the operator to power online sports betting offerings in the regulated French market for the first time.

"Being granted a licence by ARJEL is a powerful guarantee of reliability and a stamp of recognition of the strengths of BetConstruct," the company's regional director for France, David Ozararat, said.

"The French licence will allow our partners to have a privileged access to the French market that has grown 30 per cent every year since it was regulated," he explained. "BetConstruct will remove barriers for operators and allow them to benefit from this dynamic market."

This is the latest licence win for BetConstruct this year, following the award of a Controlled Skill Games Supply Licence by the Malta Gambling Authority in May and Casino and Pool Betting licences from the UK Gambling Commission.
