Italy's top sports leagues have united in opposition to the proposed ban on gambling advertising in the country, warning that the move will only serve to damage Italian sports.
The outcry follows Wednesday's news that the Italian government has approved the decree that will ban all gambling advertising from January 1st, 2019, excluding the national lottery.
