Google has wasted no time in complying with the new gambling advertising restrictions introduced in Italy, banning all gambling related ads except for those promoting the state lottery.
The new law was adopted on July 14th and prohibits gambling advertising, including sponsorships, from January 1st, 2019. It includes an exception for existing advertising agreements, which may continue to July 2019.
