Swedish news site Nyheter24 has been ordered to pay SEK100,000 after an administrative court backed action taken by national gambling regulator Lotteriinspektionen.
The penalty relates to an injunction issued against Nyheter24 in 2014 for providing links to offshore online gambling operators.
The injunction ordered the news site to cease linking to foreign gaming sites, a decision that was reaffirmed by the country’s Supreme Administrative Court in October 2017.
