Dutch gambling regulator Kansspelautoriteit (KSA) has opened an investigation into possible irregularities at the state lottery operator Staatsloterij.
The investigation will centre on the security of systems used in the drawing process at the state lottery following media allegations that the system is open to manipulation.
The KSA said that it opened the investigation in order to gather the relevant facts, having received contradictory information from the state lottery and a third party.
