INTRALOT initiates legal action after Victoria lottery market exit

Greece’s INTRALOT has sold its lottery operations in the Australian state of Victoria, with Tatts Group taking over the company’s licence to operate scratchies and daily keno across the state and in Tasmania.

Victoria Premier Denis Napthine said that the transaction will see the state return to having a single operator of public lotteries.

“This is a good result for all concerned – for customers, for lottery agents, for Tattersall's and Intralot, and for taxpayers,” said Napthine. [...]
