Stockholm-listed casino games developer NetEnt has signed an agreement with Sweden’s state-owned gaming operator Svenska Spel for the provision of online games in the re-regulated gambling market.
Svenska Spel will expand into online casino gaming for the first time next year following the re-regulation of the Swedish market, which will see it lose its iGaming monopoly while gaining authorisation to offer a much broader range of online gaming options.
