New York-listed supplier Scientific Games has successfully rolled out HD Games, a new line of instants for the US lottery market.

The instant games are already live with the Ohio Lottery, Washington Lottery and Montana Lottery.

"Scientific Games congratulates the Ohio Lottery, Washington's Lottery and Montana Lottery on their successful launch of this next generation of instant games for the enhanced enjoyment of players in their states," said John Schulz, Scientific Games senior vice president of instant products. "HD Games products are selling very well, and we are excited to introduce this new, engaging product line to our lottery customers and their players worldwide."

The Ohio Lottery was the first to roll out an HD Games title, launching Cashing Thru the Snow, a $2 holiday-themed game.

Ron Fornaro, instant ticket product manager for the Ohio Lottery Commission, commented: "We pride ourselves in offering an innovative collection of holiday games for Ohio players every year, and our trial of the new HD Games product line with a holiday specialty game was a hit."

The Washington State lottery has launched the $5 Seahawks Fever, based on NFL franchise the Seattle Seahawks.

"Our Seattle Seahawks games have always performed well, and we wanted to take that success to the next level," said Gaylene Gray, instant product manager at Washington State lottery. "We've had requests from players and retailers to make every game an HD Game.

Meanwhile, the Montana Lottery has gone live with the $3 crossword game Crossword Electro HD.

Jay Boughn, Instant Products Manager for the Montana Lottery, said: "HD Games feature a crystal clear font over our classic crossword games and offers our players great readability – perfect for crossword play styles."

Shares in Scientific Games Corporation (NYQ:SGMS) closed in New York Thursday up 2.08 per cent at $51.50 per share in New York Thursday, just off their 52-week high of $54.95 per share set on December 4th, 2017.
