The UK government has opened a consultation regarding the maximum level of funds that may be raised through society lotteries, with plans in place to increase the sales threshold to £100m.
The proposed changes to society lottery rules would increase the annual ticket sales cap from the current maximum of £10m to £100m, with the maximum draw prize climbing to £500,000.
