Swedish mobile casino operator LeoVegas has made its first acquisition with a €6.1m deal to acquire Italy’s Winga.it from Paf.

The acquisition gives LeoVegas an established position in the regulated Italian iGaming market, where Winga has operated since 2010.

“This is yet another milestone in LeoVegas’ development,” said group chief executive Gustaf Hagman. “The acquisition of Winga.it will enable rapid expansion in Italy, as we are acquiring a company with local knowledge and an established position.
