Lottery agents in the Australian state of Tasmania have won the right to collectively bargain with Intralot and Tatts Group over the terms of their distribution contracts.
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) issued a draft decision Thursday authorising the Lottery Agents Association of Tasmania (LAAT) and its members to collectively bargain with the two lottery companies for five years, citing the significance of lottery sales for small businesses.
