Switzerland’s Federal Council has laid down plans to create a new unified framework for the country’s gambling laws which will include the regulation of online gaming for the first time.
The Department of Justice and Police (Département fédéral de justice et police, DFJP), together with representatives of the Swiss Cantons, the gaming sector and addiction experts are working together to create the framework, which aims to regulate all forms of gambling under a single law.
