The European Gaming and Betting Association (EGBA) and the European Sports Security Association (ESSA) have signed an agreement with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to share information on suspicious betting activity.
The deal is to commence ahead of this year’s 2014 Winter Olympic Games, which start today in the Russian city of Sochi, and will also cover the summer games, due to be held in the Brazilian city of Rio de Janiero in 2016.
