This week has seen the release of several new slot games from the likes of Net Entertainment and Yggdrasil Gaming, including the 100th slot from New Jersey-based High 5 Games.

Net Entertainment

Swedish casino games developer Net Entertainment announced the addition of two new slot games to its portfolio, including one new game for its Touch mobile platform.

Lost Island is a game set in a forgotten land covered in luscious vegetation and dotted with ancient ruins. Players are tasked with discovering a prehistoric counting device that was brought to existence by a mysterious tribe who once ruled the land.

NetEnt has also added Piggy Riches to its Touch portfolio. The game is a 5-reel, 15-line slot, featuring Scatter wins, Free Spins and Wild substitutions.

Simon Hammon, NetEnt’s chief product officer, said: “Players are in for a real treat with these two releases that combine all our hallmark features to help stand us out from the crowd. Lost Island and Piggy Riches Touch bring together stunning animations, sounds and gameplay as we drive the online casino market forward through better games.”

Yggdrasil Gaming

Yggdrasil Gaming has developed a fantasy world-themed game entitled Magic Mushrooms where players are able to win big on what it calls an “unchronological draw slot”.

Yggdrasil said that the majority of standard online slot games have paylines on one side and reels that stop in sequence. Magic Mushrooms however uses intuitive gameplay with 40 paylines, 20 from the left and 20 from the right of the game, spread across a diamond shaped 3-4-5-4-3 reel position and with the five reels drawn in an unchronological order of 1-5-2-4-3.

Fredrik Elmqvist, chief executive of Yggdrasil Gaming, said: “There are plenty of slots out there based on aliens and zombies but this is the first that uses spreading and multiplying wild Magic Mushrooms. This game is unique in every way, from the reel structure and the characters we’ve created to the sounds and music we’ve encapsulated.”

High 5 Games

New Jersey-based games developer High 5 Games launched its 100th slot game on its flagship High 5 Casino social casino app.

High 5 Casino was launched on Facebook in September 2012, offering players 14 premium slot titles from land-based casinos.

Less than two years later, High 5 Casino’s offerings now has 100 slots featuring a mix of classic titles from land-based casinos and never-before-seen titles designed for all gaming markets.

Aegean Sunset, the 100th game, includes familiar gameplay modeled off of fan-favorite title Dangerous Beauty. The game features Super Stacks and invites players to experience the romance and relaxation of life by the Aegean Sea.

High 5 Casino took full advantage of its 100th game release as an opportunity to reward players for their continued loyalty and support, by running a number of fan-based promotions. Some received a variety of High 5 Casino branded prizes, while others were awarded a generous $100,000 in High 5 Casino cash, and a very lucky group of players had the entire collection of 100 High 5 Casino slots unlocked for them to play.
