Australian gaming operator Tatts Group has pledged not to continue its expansion into new sales channels in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT), specifically supermarkets, after plans to expand into service stations drew criticism from the state government.
The operator, which also owns New South Wales Lotteries, has assured Minister for Racing and Gaming Joy Burch that neither Tatts nor the lottery business will expand into supermarkets in the ACT.
