Online gaming technology supplier Microgaming has launched its new Playboy-branded multiplayer online slot game, with a network-wide competition to celebrate the launch scheduled for November.
The existing single-player game has been adapted to a 5x3 reel, 20 fixed payline multiplayer community slot. While characters, animation and soundtrack have been carried over from the single-player game, the multi-player variant has been enhanced with a number of new features.
It enables up to six players to play together and features chat functionality, as well as a bonus thermometer which gives players access to exclusive free spins features.
In conjunction with the launch, Microgaming is running a network promotion giving players the chance to win one of five year-long memberships to the Playboy Club in London. The promotion runs throughout November and will be made available to all participating operators on the multiplayer network.
Microgaming’s licensing partnership with Playboy began in early 2013 with the launch of its first branded live-dealer studio. Later that year, the Playboy single-player slots game went live.
