Online gaming technology supplier Microgaming has agreed a deal to supply a range of games from Rabcat to its network of operators.

Microgaming said that its relationship with Rabcat began in 2012 when the games studio became a development partner on the Quickfire platform.

Rabcat, which operates as part of Win2day, the online gaming platform run jointly by Austrian Lotteries and Casinos Austria, has now signed a long-term supplier contract with Microgaming.

In addition to the distribution network available through Quickfire, a number of Rabcat titles will also be delivered to Microgaming operators. This includes games such as Dragon’s Myth, Legend of Olympus and Castle Builder, utilising the download, Flash and HTML5 platforms.

“Through the Quickfire platform we have witnessed first-hand the technical prowess and expertise that Microgaming possesses,” said Rabcat CEO Thomas Schleischitz. “This new commercial agreement is a big step forward which will assist greatly to unleash Rabcat’s full potential.

“Microgaming’s operator base is second to none, and through this deal our leading premium game titles will reach a far more extensive audience than ever before.”

Microgaming CEO Roger Raatgever added: “This deal signifies our commitment to building successful and effective partnerships. A strong bond through Quickfire has enabled us to enter a more committed contract with Rabcat; an agreement which we are confident will be fruitful for both parties involved.

“This is an exciting deal, particularly for our download casino operators who will now have access to Rabcat’s cutting-edge 3D slots for the first time. Rabcat games have universal appeal and will form the perfect addition to our gaming portfolio.”

The first of Rabcat’s games to go live with Microgaming will be Castle Builder which is scheduled to go live in January of next year.

Castle Builder was first launched by Rabcat last year through its existing supplier partnership with platform provider Odobo, which remains unaffected by the Microgaming deal.

The game is currently live with operators bet365 and Betfair, with Coral soon to launch the game. Rabcat’s Legends of Optimus game is also live with both bet365 and Betfair.
