Sporting data supplier Sportradar has agreed a deal to supply its live score and statistics solutions to Kicktipp, a German operator that organises online contests where players compete against one another to predict the outcomes of sporting events.

The partnership came into effect last week, with the live score and statistics solutions supplied by Sportradar’s Media Service division and integrated into the Kicktipp.de website via XML feed, as well as into the operator’s mobile application.

Sportradar covers over 100 countries, more than 240 football leagues, offering its data in 40 languages, giving the broadest football coverage available in the market. The supplier said that this would allow Kicktipp to provide users with up-to-date, accurate data as quickly as possible.

“We look forward to this partnership and are delighted that Kicktipp has chosen Sportradar Media Services for the data integration on its platforms,” Sportradar sales director Andreas Meyer said of the partnership.

“With our high quality data we are confident to provide all the necessary information needed to make this a successful partnership and help Kicktipp to strengthen its position and improve their business," he added.

Kicktipp chief executive and founder Janning Vygen said it was particularly important to offer his customers “lightning fast” and reliable live scores and statistics.

“We are now able to provide an even better service and to deliver data to all of our users quickly and accurately for all available leagues,” Vygen said. “In addition to that the quality, speed and reliability were the reasons why we decided to join forces with Sportradar Media Services.”
