Philippines-based gaming technology provider PhilWeb has been granted a one-month extension by the state-controlled Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp (PAGCOR) to continue to operate e-Games cafes across the country.
PhilWeb had requested that its Intellectual Property License and Management Agreement (IPLMA) with PAGCOR, due to expire today (July 11th), be extended on a month-to-month basis or other short term basis until President Rodrigo Duterte’s directive regarding online gambling was clarified.
