Live dealer software supplier Evolution Gaming has signed agreements with five licensed online operators in the Belgian market, with all partners to launch live dealer games before the end of the second quarter.

The five operators - bwin.be, unibet.be, 777.be, Circus.be and starcasino.be – will stream online live casino games from Evolution’s new Belgian studio at the Circus Group-owned Casino de Spa. The first games to go live will include live dealer Roulette and Blackjack games, plus Auto Slingshot Roulette.

“Once again, Evolution’s investment in regulated markets will give both existing and new licensees a significant competitive edge,” said Evolution Gaming’s CEO Jens von Bahr. “This takes our total number of studios to five; and it fits with our strategy of delivering customized streaming solutions to meet the needs of licensees and regulators.

“As with all of our studios, Casino de Spa will offer state-of-the-art live casino broadcast facilities with the support of our robust infrastructure so that licensees can achieve cost-effective market entry,” continued von Bahr. “What’s more, there is scope here to create exclusive dedicated environments for licensees who wish to further differentiate their Belgian live casino offering in the future.”

All operators will use shared tables at the Casino de Spa studio, located in the Pink Ballroom, to stream live games seven days a week.

All live tables will be served by native speaking Flemish and French dealers, as stipulated by the Belgian Gaming Commission (BGC), with all games available for play on desktop, tablet and smartphone devices.

“We are delighted to be working with Evolution Gaming, another leader in the gaming sector,” said Emmanuel Mewissen, CEO of Circus Group and owner of Casino de Spa. “We have a track record of innovation at Casino de Spa and to be able to offer a world-class live casino from here is very much in keeping with our rich history.

“Live casino is a dynamic sector and we look forward to launching the market-leading live casino solution for Belgium.”

Evolution has also signed a deal with service provider Gaming1, which works with a number of licensed Belgian operators including Circus.be, who will stream Auto Slingshot Roulette from the same facility.

Earlier this month, Gaming1 launched a new version of its managed casino and sportsbook platform, with Circus.be becoming the first operator to go live with the technology.
