Belgian online casino operator Casino777 has launched a selection of live dealer games from Evolution Gaming, broadcast from the Casino de Spa.

The games are available seven days a week between 18:00 and 02:00, featuring French and Dutch-speaking dealers based in Casino de Spa and Evolution’s dedicated Belgian live dealer facility.

“Earlier this year we were the first Belgian casino to offer online live roulette from a terrestrial casino in Belgium,” Casino de Spa’s Jean-Christophe Choffray explained.

“We are very excited to add Evolution Gaming's table games to our live casino offering, especially those hosted from our very own casino in Spa.”

Evolution chief executive Jens von Bahr said he was “enormously proud” to have been able to integrate the company's live dealer studio with what he described as a “famous and historic venue.”

“Belgian players now have access to fully compliant Live Casino games on their desktop, tablet and smartphone, with all of the live tables served by French and Dutch native speaking dealers,” von Bahr continued. “It's a world-class service with a distinctive local flavour.”

The launch comes after Belgian regulator the Belgian Gaming Commission (BGC) initiated a crackdown on live dealer games in order to ensure that games were being broadcast from studios in the country.

In January the BGC ordered all licensees to supply details of their live dealer offering to assess whether they were compliant with regulations, issuing licences to Unibet, bwin.party and Ladbrokes, and local brands Golden Palace, Casino777, 36Win and Palladium Games.
