Digital sports content and media group Perform has launched its new live sports streaming service in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Rolled out ahead of this weekend’s Premier League season opener, DAZN provides sports fans with access to the top five European football leagues.
It includes exclusive access to the Premier League, starting with this Saturday’s opener between Champions Leicester City and Hull City, as well as every match live from La Liga, Serie A and Ligue 1, plus highlights of every match from Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2.
Perform described DAZN as the “world’s first truly dedicated live sports streaming service”, providing fans with live and on demand sport on virtually any connected device, including Smart TVs, personal computers, tablets, smartphones and games consoles.
DAZN covers more than 8,000 live events a year including NBA, NFL, tennis, motorsports, boxing, ice hockey, rugby, darts among others.
“At DAZN, we put fans first and in control. German sports fans can choose to watch the sport they love whenever and wherever they like, with no long-term fixed contract and no advertising, for just €9.99,” said Perform CEO Simon Denyer.
“By joining DAZN fans will enjoy an unparalleled streaming experience, with more live sport available than any service before. Incredible moments in sport happen every day, not just during the major events.
“We won’t make the broadcasting choices for you,” Denyer continued. “As a subscriber you’ll have the freedom to set your own sporting agenda. We’re delivering something very different.”
