The Norwegian Media Authority Medietilsynet has contacted its counterpart in the United Kingdom to request that UK-based broadcasters serving Norway adhere to rules limiting most gambling advertising to after 9pm.
The request follows a Medietilsynet investigation into Norwegian language channels that broadcast from the UK, which found that as much as 71 per cent of gambling advertising was aired before the 9pm watershed.
