The UK's Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has banned an ad for Annexio-powered lottery betting operator World Lottery Club which imitated a news report to advertise a lottery draw, without making clear its commercial intent.
The ad was seen in the complainant's Facebook newsfeed on June 14th and stated: "How about never working again or starting an empire! Spend it your own way, you'd be one of the UK's wealthiest lottery winners".
