Mississippi sports betting market continues decline into July

Mississippi’s regulated sports betting market declined for the fourth consecutive month as total wagers fell to $13.4m during the month of July.

Total wagers from across the state (excluding three casinos operated by the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians) were down 12 per cent compared to June.

Baseball represented more than three-quarters of the monthly total with wagers of $10.2m, while basketball accounted for $327,386 and football $71,016. Parlay cards generated a total of $1.8m during the [...]
