Tasmania’s Minister for Racing, Bryan Green has announced that betting operators will soon be required to pay a fee for the use of Tasmania’s race field information, as he state looks to maximise financial returns for its racing industry.
The proposed amendments to the state’s racing legislation will require bookmakers to pay the fee from November 1st.
