With income from racing operations continuing to slide, US racetrack operator Churchill Downs Inc. (CDI) has reported a 35 per cent increase in net revenues for the third quarter as a result of increasing contributions from its online wagering and gaming businesses.
CDI said Wednesday that net revenues from continuing operations for the three months ended September 30th climbed 35 per cent year-on-year to US$135.7m, primarily as a result of contributions from the recently acquired Youbet.com [...]
