Wyoming moves to legalise lotteries and casual poker games

The US state of Wyoming, one of only seven states without a lottery, has introduced new legislation that would authorise the establishment of a state lottery as well as legalising social poker games.

House Bill 186 would create the Wyoming Lottery Corporation, a public body authorised to operate and manage lottery games within the state for the purposes of providing “continuing entertainment to the public” and “maximising revenues” to the state.
