Alongside posting a 6 per cent increase in Core Betfair revenues to £77.0m for the third quarter ended January 31st 2011, Betfair Group plc said Tuesday that as of tomorrow its betting exchange will operate under a Gibraltar licence, which the company claimed will allow it to compete on a level basis with rival sports betting operators also based outside of the UK.
