The UK’s Office of Fair Trading is investigating the £35m acquisition of gaming machines business Barcrest by Scientific Games.
Scientific Games agreed a deal in April to acquire Barcrest from Interactive Game Technology (IGT), subject to obtaining UK competition approvals, in order to extend its presence in the UK server-based gaming market.
