The Czech parliament has backed down from strict gambling legislation that would have made the draconian new Polish laws look liberal, but has still effectively banned foreign online gambling operators from the Republic.
The parliament began the session debating a plan to require ISPs to block access to foreign online gaming websites, but dropped it when parliamentarians realised the knock-on effect that would have on other businesses such as banks and e-commerce websites.
