The Regional Court of Bremen has ruled that the ban on online lottery brokerage in Germany is “inapplicable” following the expiry of the State Treaty on Gaming and therefore contravenes European law.
As a result of the verdict, the Court has lifted a preliminary ban which prevented Tipp24 from offering online brokerage of the state-run lottery in Bremen.
