Labour leader pledges to crack down on Bookies’ FOBTs

UK Labour Party leader Ed Miliband will today unveil his party's strategy for minimising the potential harm caused by Fixed-Odds Betting Terminals (FOBTs) in retail bookmakers.

The Labour Party leader will be in North London Friday where he will cite evidence that deprived communities - and people who can least afford it - are being targeted by firms placing FOBTs where punters can bet £300 a minute or £18,000 an hour.
