PopCap Games, the social gaming arm of Electronic Arts, has laid off fifty members of staff at its U.S base in Seattle and is also evaluating the future of its European office in Dublin as part of the company’s reorganisation.
PopCap co-founder John Vechey confirmed that the reorganisation of its studios was “something you expect periodically from a company in a fast-changing industry.”
