The online gambling industry’s leading operators have called on the European Commission to re-launch proceedings against Belgium and other countries that are in clear breach of EU laws, following the detainment and subsequent release of bwin.party co-CEO Norbert Teufelberger in Brussels last week.
Last Tuesday, Teufelberger was requested to attend an interview with representatives from the Belgium Gambling Commission (BGC) following his appearance at a Responsible Gaming Day event in Brussels.
