Eight indicted as Hawaii shutters illegal gambling business

Law enforcement officers have arrested eight people in the U.S island nation of Hawaii for their involvement in operating an illegal gambling business, which included an offshore gaming website.

Following an indictment by a federal grand jury last week, six Hawaii residents (Eric Ford, Marlo Banasan, Matthew Phillips, Kendale Limahai, Jonah Yardley, and Trevor Carter) and an Arizona resident (Robert Bland) were arrested for operating an illegal gambling business and conspiring to do so.
