Britain’s Ladbrokes plc has completed its €30m acquisition of Irish betting exchange operator Betdaq.
Ladbrokes has paid an initial consideration of €30m for Global Betting Exchange Alderney Limited, operator of the Betdaq exchange, and a 10 per cent stake in TBH Guernsey Limited, which provides the technology platform for the betting exchange. Ladbrokes also holds a call option to acquire the remaining shares in TBH Guernsey after four years.
